Danielle Boss with astronomical medical bills

Hi everyone, as some of you may know, Danielle has been in and out of the hospital quite frequently as of late. She is currently dealing with a host of medical issues. This last hospital trip was for multiple complications following my hysterectomy. She developed an abdominal abscess that led to becoming septic (a whole-body infection). She currently has a drain in place as well as a central PICC line for direct antibiotic and blood treatments. Through a series of tests, it was found that she had a golf ball sized mass in her uterus that needed to be removed immediately, however there were massive complications after discovering impaction of her abdominal organs during the surgery. She had to receive multiple blood transfusions and then had an adverse reaction to antibiotics leading to a much lengthier time in the hospital. For those who don’t know, prior to this, she was diagnosed with melanoma (a form of skin cancer) on her birthday, back in March. After undergoing treatment, it has been resolved after removal. She will need at home nursing care upon her release as well as infectious disease treatment, iron transfusions and follow-up treatment/care that will be a minimal of three times a week. She is also suffering from an autoimmune disease which is making the fight of this infection much harder and taxing on her organs. It is to be expected that she will have an incredible uphill battle to return to some resemblance of a healthy life and will have life-long effects. Danielle and her husband are not asking for hand-outs as they are both very hard-working individuals but with the rapid decline in her health and the amount of treatment costs that are out of pocket for prior and still to come medical visits as well as the absurdly expensive cost of medications, any donations you will be willing to give would be an immense blessing to them and their family.
