Danielle & Animals Funding During Chemo
Donation protected
My beautiful and brave friend Danielle (41), or “Rainbow” as many people know her, has breast cancer. It’s ok, she’s going to be alright! But she does need chemotherapy first, which she is due to start in just a week’s time.
Danielle and her boyfriend Morgan are also undergoing IVF treatment in the hope that they can still be parents but due to her pending chemo treatment, doing this the natural way as they had planned, may not be a possibility.
There are many wonderful things about my friend, I wouldn’t have the time or the space on this page to list them all. The best thing about her though is her huge heart. For the past eight years Danielle, with help from Morgan, has cared for and saved the lives of many sick and homeless animals. Her journey started in Ibiza, Spain where she lived on an animal sanctuary and spent her days caring for rescue farm animals, cats and dogs.
Now back in England with a small sanctuary of her own Danielle’s experience in Spain has enabled her to continue to care for and give homes to hundreds of cats & dogs, all with various disabilities or illnesses . Other than her partner Morgan, she does this with no outside help physically or financially. They work long hours in a local pub near Canterbury, on a modest wage, which pays their bills and enables Danielle to fund her passion for helping sick animals to live out their last days in a loving home.
This is where she needs your help:
Chemo starts in a week; she will be given a particularly “aggressive form of chemo”. Her doctors have told her she cannot continue to work as catching covid or even a cold could be fatal due to the extremely low immunities in her body during treatment. Morgan will continue to work as much as he is able alongside caring for Danielle and her beloved animals. However, Morgan’s wage alone isn’t going to pay their rent and bills and without any financial help they risk losing their house and as a result their animals too. Their first reaction was to seek help from the government, but unfortunately the amount they are eligible for is tiny.
Please help Danielle keep going. Help to pay her rent, bills, and all the many expenses that come with her animals such as food and vet bills etc during this tricky time during chemo treatment. Any amount you can give, however big or small will be greatly appreciated. Fortunately, unlike many families, we are one of the lucky ones, we get to keep our Danielle, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Despite this, she still needs a bit of help to get her through what will hopefully be the last hurdle.
Thank you all so much in advance, from Charlotte, Morgs, Rainbow and the animals. X
