Daniella’s Memorial

Daniella, who was an exceptionally gifted high school student, who loved her dance classes and her friends at her ballet school, who was an unforgettable friend, and who was loved by all who knew her, died suddenly of a cardiac arrest, aged 16 and a half, on the evening of Saturday 13 May. Her death was completely unforeseen. Daniella was exceptionally gifted academically. She loved her ballet and other dancing with a rare passion. And she was extremely sincere and deeply emotional in a direct spontaneous way that wasn't always obvious until one got to know her better. She was a beautiful child with a beautiful soul. The thought of not seeing her again is devastating to all of us. Some of us will continue to be inspired by her for as long as we live. Our thoughts go not least to her mother. Daniella and her mother lived for each other. One practical way in which we can express our love for Daniella and our support for her mother Lana Grant is by helping to defray the expenses for the funeral arrangements. On the initiative of one of her dance teachers and with the full support of her dance school, this GoFundMe site has been set up to raise funds for that purpose.
