For the Sylvestre Family

Hi, I am Brooklyn’s oldest sister, Jess. We are starting a Gofundme in memory of Daniell Sylvestre who unexpectedly passed away in the early hours of April 15th at the age of 33. The funds will be used to support his family in rebuilding their lives.

Daniell is survived by his loving wife Brooklyn, their 14 month old son Travis, his Mother Shandra, Brother Dallas, Stepfather Ian, and Grandmother Dixie. Daniell is joining his Father and Grandfather in the after life.

Daniell was a friend to everyone he met. He was polite, caring and hilarious. He had a ferocious love for hockey and an unwavering Loilty to the Edmonton Oilers. Many of his greatest memories happened on the ice and in the dressing room.

Brooklyn and Daniell’s relationship started as colleagues and as their love for each other grew, they became inseparable. Daniell had a love for my sister that I could have only dreamed up for her. The two were married on January 14th, 2023. Brooklyn, Daniell and their pets welcomed their son, Travis, into the family on February 4th, 2024. Daniell’s time spent with Travis was filled with love, smiles and of course, hockey.

We hope that the funds raised can help cover the immediate bills and obligations, any memorial expenses, and be set aside to support Travis’ future endeavours.

We are also hoping to gather stories and memories from Daniell’s friends and family to create a book that showcases Daniell, memories shared with him and well wishes for Brooklyn and Travis.
