Dan Ginther's Funeral and ULF Fund
Donation protected
Daniel Ginther unexpectedly passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 41. Dan had a debilitating disease - Adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN) a form of Adrenoleukodystrophy. But in the weeks before his death he was doing well - strong, working in a new position, feeling positive about the future.
Dan was giving - he volunteered at soup kitchens, helped his mother and step-father around the house, was a great cook, helped care for his brother Ben who also suffers from AMN - he was a selfless individual who always cared for others and gave of himself.
This fund is to help defer these unanticipated funeral costs as well as serve as a donation to the United Leukodystrophy Foundation (ULF).
ULF is a nonprofit, voluntary health organization dedicated to providing patients and their families with information about their disease and assistance in identifying sources of medical care, social services, and genetic counseling; establishing a communication network among families; increasing public awareness and acting as an information source for health care providers; and promoting and supporting research into causes, treatments, and prevention of the leukodystrophies.
Please help the Ginther family and ULF. Any contribution will be very much appreciated.
