Most people that know Daniel, would consider him more of a family member than a friend. Daniel is a devoted father, a Son, and great Brother. When my youngest brother sustained a brain injury on Active duty, he stepped in to help take care of his brother. He is always doing something for others. Daniel has a huge heart, loves and supports his family and always looks at the bright side of things.

Daniel has unfortunately found himself in a tough situation not warranted, and not supported by evidence, just hearsay. I was utterly taken back when I was informed by legal counsel witnesses were being coached by those with a badge to make statements that are far from the truth. I assure you, if you were to read the file, or speak with his attorney, you would be in disbelief. His Attorney took on his case because he believes in his innocence. The DA went as far as paraphrasing  details that conforms to her narrative, and left out (very important) details that don't. For this reason he sits in county jail to this day.

Daniel has been an outstanding role-model and has never been in any kind of trouble for 37 years. Because I can see the potential for injustice I’m starting this page to help my Brother. He has done so much for others, I can’t help myself to help him.

So, we are asking our family and friends and anyone else moved by this to please come together to support Daniel. Let’s not let Daniel be another victim of a flawed judicial system where DAs make names for themselves with wrongful convictions. Let’s help Daniel and his Son not become another statistic of a failing system.
