Daniel Zejer is a grade 12 student, attending St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School. He is 17 years old and an only child.  He recently suffered a tragedy with the loss of his mother. His mother worked very hard to make his future possible; working two jobs in the last 15 years to help support the family. 

In October 2018 his mother (42 years old) was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. In November 2018, she had a surgery to remove a tumour from her colon. After her surgery, she had her first chemotherapy treatment which failed 3 months later and during this time the cancer started to spread again to her liver.  

Recently in August 2019, her doctors told her she had about 2-12 months to live. 

On October 19, 2019, her fight against cancer ended. She passed on. 

For the past year, Daniel has struggled with the possibility of losing his mom.
No one can replace his mother but we are creating this page to raise some financial assistance to ensure that he has some help for his future education and early adulthood.
