Daniel (or DY to many of his friends) passed away on March 3rd, 2025. He was a great son, brother and friend to many of us. I first met Daniel in 1994 during our Uni days and since then enjoyed many fun times together. He fought a really good fight for many years and till the very end. He is in a better place now and leaves us with some great memories to cherish.

At the request of his parents, DY’s ashes will be placed at the Kwan Yin temple at Canley Vale in Sydney.

Myself and DY’s close friends are raising funds to meet the cost of the memorial space that his parents have managed to secure at the Kwan Yin temple. The total amount is AUD$7,480 for which $5,000 has already been contributed by various friends in Australia and Hong Kong. There is now a balance amount of $2,480 remaining. If the funds collected is above the specified amount, we will purchase items that would be practical for the parents. Invoices and receipts will be available.
