Daniel Wolfe needs a kidney transplant

Daniel Wolfe desperately needs a kidney transplant. His health has deteriorated to the point where just walking up the steps to his bedroom is exhausting. Mostly he has no appetite, and what he does eat makes him nauseous. His weight has dwindled to a skinny 130 pounds. His body is failing and all he can do is wait for the transplant.
He is a 40 year old single dad of two that is unable to provide. He has not been able to work regularly for many months. He has a daughter, who is 20. She is a full time student at Towson University, and works as a waitress full time. She is also in the Army Reserves. He has a son, who is a senior in high school, who works part time after school.
We have been paying the rent and utilities, as well as car insurance, but have depleted our resources. His daughter and son have been helping with whatever they can, but are also depleted.
We, his parents, are living in Florida, so moving in with us is not practical.
He has started the long process of scheduling the transplant with Georgetown University Hospital. His daughter has offered to be the donor if she is a correct match, otherwise he will just enter the hospital's registry and wait for a match. He has Medicaid, which pays most of his medical expenses.
Dan is an accomplished Sous Chef, and has worked in some of Maryland's best kitchens. He is a loving dad who has raised his children to be hard working, respectful citizens.
He needs this transplant to get back to life. In the meantime, he needs to continue to keep a home for his family. His expenses are about $4,000 per month. If he is able to get a transplant scheduled as soon as February or March, he will still need at least 6 months for recovery, maybe more.
