Daniel Vincent Schaffer Memorial
Danny, 21, was tragically killed on July 21st, 2019 during the early morning hours.
Danny was driving his girlfriend home from a lovely evening when he was experiencing car troubles and pulled over to the side of I-75N near Tampa, FL. This is where he sought assistance from a AAA driver. Once Danny's car was on the flat bed on the tow truck, another vehicle that was traveling northbound left the travel lanes and struck Danny from behind, killing him instantly and injuring the tow truck driver. Danny's mother was standing within 10 feet of him where she witnessed the horrific accident.

Dan was loved by many family and friends and will be truly missed. For all of those who knew Danny, they knew that he had a good head on his shoulders, was a hard worker, and always put a smile on everyone's face. Danny enjoyed his job working as an Electrician in the Bradenton area. He enjoyed spending time with his family by going fishing as well as to the beaches and building sand sculptures.
All funds raised in this GoFundMe page will be distributed directly to Danny's parents, Steven and Jennifer Schaffer, for funeral, medical and psychological treatments for the family as well as any other necessary expenses that the family incurs as a result of this tragedy.
