There comes a time in life where we all could use a helping hand. My siblings and I did not realize that with our father’s passing on September 25, 2022 that would unveil a harsh financial hardship for us in assisting our mother with the existing bills that our parents were still currently paying off. We each have our own lives and debts to take care of but we are also trying to assist with helping our mom.

Although our parents were able to live comfortably with our dad’s military retirement, that all changed once my father passed and was reduced to a very small percentage. Not enough to make ends. The life insurance was unfortunately only accidental.

So we are actively helping our mom liquidate her assets in order to stay afloat. She is a few years younger than our dad and has been retired for a few years. She needs help. We need a hand helping her. It’s already been a tough road for her losing her husband, friend, and partner of 56 years. We just want to make things better for her, moving forward.
