Daniel's Fight Against Cancer

Hey guys! My name is Andee. Recently, a tragedy happened to my sisters little family and our whole family when they found a tumor in my brother in-law Daniel Thompson's face. He is a hard working, full time student and he is going to have to miss work, school, and have to pay out of the pocket for surgeries. They have a precious daughter named Ellie, and they will need all the help they can get. Family and friends, I hope we can come together and help them through this hard time. The smallest amount is appreciated.

I hate being vulnerable or weak. But today I have to admit.. I am. We learned today that the tumor in Daniel's face is spindle cell neoblastomia. The doctors, surgeons, and pathologists are still unsure if it is benign or malignant. We know that it is eating the bone in his face and is very aggressive. A MRI is next, then another surgery. This surgery for removal will completely remove his entire upper left jaw bone and teeth, cheek bone and possible lower eye area (at the least). After that will determine chemo or radiology, depending on what they find and through testing this thing. I'm writing this to plea with my friends to pray for us. Pray God will provide strength, understanding/knowledge, finances, healing, and for His will.
I'm shocked that I have to watch my husband in such distress, tears, fear. Pray God will give me courage, less anxiety, a positive outlook, words to say. Pray my emotions will not overtake me.
We do not want to do this alone. We are scared, but we also believe God, if it's His will, will heal Daniel.
I just took this picture of him and he is just so beautiful. His look on life is precious. I want to be more like him. Please join me to pray for him, his doctors, his family.

"Soooo, now that my sabbatical from FB is over, it seems like a good opportunity to update on what's going on.
So in the pic is my skull during an MRI. The white mass on my left side is a spindle cell neoplasm. This tumor will be removed Thursday June 22nd. It is I'm my bone. So they will be removing 6 teeth, part of my jaw bone, cheek bone, half of the roof of my mouth, and possibly my lower eye socket. Many of you know this, but I am simply reiterating and updating. I want to ask for prayer from you all. I want you all to know that God is a God of peace, love, and comfort. I will update more later. God bless you all."
