Daniel T. Constantino Foundation
Donation protected
Daniel passed away a week ago. He was only 20 years old. He was funny, smart, talented, and kind. He was also different and didn't quite fit in. He asked often, why. He wanted to be accepted, to have friends. This was hard for him.
We don't want him to be forgotten, so we thought it best to start a foundation to honor him because "No child should sit alone at a school lunch table" like Daniel did so many times.
The mission will be to encourage mainstream children in schools to be more accepting of the differences in others. We hope to teach them to reach out and to realize that our humanity comes from the beauty and breadth of our individualism. Simple acts of kindness such as a handshake, a fist pump, a high five can be very impactful in a child's life.
Please join us in our efforts. Many friends, family, and neighbors have already made donations to us directly. We will now donate those funds to this campaign. Thanks to all who will make donations in Daniel's name. As his parents, we will make sure that the funds go to help other children feel like they belong.
