Hi everyone!
My name is Adam Bader and I was born and raised in Derna, Libya. I currently live in Los Angeles but my family, friends, and relatives are in Libya.
Some barely survived the floods but others have sadly died including kids and elderly people. Those who survived have no shelter, food, water, or medicine.
Storm Daniel has struck the city of Derna and the the Eastern region of Libya 48 hours ago. The city’s two water dams exploded and millions of cubic meters of water have destroyed the city center. There have been 2,000 deaths and 6,000 people declared missing so far. It has also left thousands of people without shelter or access to water and electricity.
I have lost cousins, friends, and extended relatives.
I am raising funds to those who have survived to purchase essential items and rebuild their lives. The funds will be delivered directly to them through me.
How the funds will be used:
- Purchase essential items including food, water, and medicine.
- Secure temporary shelter.
- Helping survivors rebuild their homes and businesses.
