Daniel Sepulveda Funeral Costs
Donation protected
Daniel Olea Sepulveda was an amazing grandfather. He made it to every single one of my sporting events, every graduation, every family celebration, I cant think of a big moment in my life where grandfather wasn't there. I literally couldn't have asked for a better mentor in my life. As a former Marine and retired Fire fighter, I always saw him as an epitome of strength. even into his elder years, he continued maintaining his physical fitness by doing exercises every morning, specifically, always doing his age in pushups. and as I was continuing my physical fitness, I always couldn't wait to show him what I've achieved. Making him proud was always at the forefront for me.
To a majority of my family, he is known as Baka, the story behind that is when I was a child and learning how to speak, I for some reason just couldn't say "grandpa" and continuously called him "Baka" and the nickname stuck. I later found out that Baka meant cow in Spanish, so that's why we decided to spell his nickname the way we did.
I could go on and on here about how Baka meant everything to me and my family, but the simply truth of the matter is that he is going to be dearly missed, every day, and will absolutely not be forgotten. On June 24th he was diagnosed with Covid 19, spent a week in the hospital fighting the virus, and a week later on July 1st, was taken from us at the age of 83. My family and I are devastated due to the fact that we weren't able to be by his side when he passed. We are deeply saddened by all of this, we lost an anchor in our family, and accepting the fact that he is gone now, will absolutely not be an easy task.
I ask now, if you are able to assist my family in laying Baka to rest, any kind of donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time.
