Daniel, Raquel & Ackerman Family

Seven years after Daniel's first brain surgery for tumor removal, Daniel and Raquel got the devastating news that the tumor had returned. On March 31st Daniel underwent his second brain surgery. The surgeon at the time felt he got what he needed to and didn’t feel any further treatment was needed. The second surgery was successful removing the tumor, but he had a rare complication after surgery which turned his expected ICU stay from 1 day to 9 and counting. He is slowly improving, baby steps each day. He will likely have to do radiation and/or chemotherapy when he is fully recovered. Raquel has been by his side and pushes him to improve every day. They just purchased their first home a few months ago and with both of them needing an undetermined amount of time off work for Daniel’s recovery, this is the one way we thought we could get the word out and get some financial help and prayers that Daniel continues in the right direction and will be home with his girls soon. Anyone that knows Daniel, knows that he is a hardworking , amazing husband, dad, son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend.
