My name is Maria Mendez. I am setting up this GoFundMe account to help out my daughter and her family in this time of need.

Her husband, Daniel, was in a motorcycle accident this past week and is still in the hospital waiting to be released. He is going to be out of work for an undetermined amount of time, as well as Vanessa. She will need to stay home and be with him and my granddaughter. Getting him back and forth to appointments and her to school will be keeping her busy. They also live on the other side of the country, due to him being stationed in California at the Air Force base there, so it's hard for family to help them out as much as we'd like.
