Daniel Podvesker Quinnipiac Memorial

On December 1, 2020, we lost a member of the Quinnipiac University community. Daniel Podvesker, Class of 2008,  affectionately called “DPod” was one of the greatest friends you could ask for. You could lean on him, trust him, and talk to him whenever you wanted. He was a fun-loving and generous soul, and we are all lucky to have had him in our lives. He was extremely intelligent and knew so many things. Whether it was discussing history, politics, or current events, Dan left a lasting impression on everyone he met by having smart conversations. After graduating from Quinnipiac, he attended New York Law School to become an attorney, pursuing a career in corporate law.  He later left the corporate world to pursue a dream as the owner and CEO of Builderpod, a web based application that he developed on his own.

During his years at QU, Dan let everyone know he was from New York through his love for the New York Giants, Yankees, Knicks, and Rangers. His passion was unmatched, and he brought that energy with him in all of the friendships he has made.

In remembrance of Daniel, we would like to set up a donation fund for a memorial in Dan’s name. Dan absolutely cherished his time at QU, and called his college years one of the best experiences of his life. After discussing with the Podvesker family and several friends, it has been decided to have a bench plaque named in Dan’s honor. This way, Dan’s name can live on at Quinnipiac University and never be forgotten.
