Daniel Philip Shinaver Funeral cost

Words can't express what a loss I feel at the unexpected death of My Dad. Unfortunately he never won the lottery like he had dreamed he would. With our recent house fire and needed repairs I just don't have the extra money for a funeral. My Dad had been getting social security as his only income after his stroke a few years ago. He didn't have much but he was always willing to help others and give what he could. He had little but that was enough for him.

He was a hard worker and liked to stay busy and stayed working at the same factory all of his life, ETM in Grand Ledge, MI making less than $10 an hour. He regretted dropping out of school and always encouraged me to keep going. I know he was proud of me for graduating from college. He loved his three grandsons and spending time with them. He loved to ride on his lawn mower around the yard and watch the deer and birds. His favorite thing to do was scratch off lottery tickets and talk about all the things he would do if he won.

I'm not really sure what else to say. It's just such a shock and so much to handle all at once. He was such a funny guy who always liked to joke and make others laugh. He loved his family a lot. He and loved visiting them often and He will be greatly missed by many.
