Dear Recipients,
I am writing to share an exciting and humbling opportunity to serve on a short-term missions trip to Peru with New Life Fellowship. We will be traveling to New Life's campus in Iquitos, Peru, from June 18th to June 26th to partner with Nueva Vida and ABBA International Orphanage.
During our time in Peru, we will have the privilege of working with Pastor Osmar and the Nueva Vida staff at the church and the Sunshine Kids Club, doing relational ministry and evangelical outreach. Since we partner with the New Life Churches in Peru, we hear frequent testimony about how God is at work drawing hearts to Himself and bringing help and healing to children and families. I am excited to go and see God at work and help them in this ministry.
I believe God will use what I learn on this trip in my life as I continue to move forward with Jesus. I know it will deepen my faith, help me learn more about God’s love for others, help me put ideas of service into practice in my community, and help me make a greater kingdom impact after I return home.
My prayer is that God will use our team to bless and serve the people we meet, and that He will transform my own heart in the process.
Many of our friends have asked how they can help us. This is where you come in. First, we are looking for people who will partner with us in prayer. We would appreciate prayer for our safety, our ministry, and our fundraising efforts. Secondly, each person going on the trip must raise $2,700 to cover travel and ministry expenses. I would be honored if you would consider supporting me.
