Daniel Newville and his dying mother

I am starting a fundraiser in support of a devout and godly teacher who is living with and caring for his dying mother. He has taught at Huron Valley Catholic School for 22 years and as camp director at Pine Hills Camp for boys for two decades and influenced and exemplified to countless junior-high aged boys and girls to follow Christ. He was my assistant teacher when I taught 5th grade for a year.. it was obvious that he was gifted to be an excellent and caring teacher.

Daniel writes inspiring and transparent FB posts about having been abandoned by his own father and his struggles with that.., but that his beloved mother has been a rock for him.... (and of course, the Lord Himself!)

Daniel never married, has lived with his mom all these years, and as a private-school teacher doesn’t have great financial resources, especially with his mom now in hospice and the current virus-ordeal’s challenges.
