Our dear friend, Daniel Holbrook, unexpectedly lost his husband, Mark, while Daniel was out of state. Mark was home alone at the time of his passing. This is unexpected and very devastating for Daniel.

They were just about to sign documents for a new home that they've been searching for in the last several years, which would accommodate Mark's medical and handicapped needs. This new chapter was going to be a long-awaited precious time.

Daniel is now in a position of deciding whether he loses the money he's already put into the new home (over $10,000) from earnest money, inspections, and surveys, or with some help from his friends, he could tighten all costs to try to still move to his new home.

He was very much looking forward to sitting on the porch with Mark in the evenings, watching the chickens they were going to raise, and a new kitty cat. Sadly, Daniel cannot fulfill this vision with Mark not by his side.

All donations would go directly to supporting the purchase of the home or looking for another place to rent and set aside all monies for that rent.
