Daniel Needs Our Help: Stroke Recovery

This is Shelley! Daniel and I have been married 26 years and have a beautiful 8-year-old daughter, Civie!

Wednesday, while at work, Daniel got really sick and was rushed to the ER. When he got there, his entire body was gray; he could not talk or move. He was unable to do any commands that the doctors asked. Daniel had suffered a STROKE. He has had every test done under the earth:

They started a drug called clot buster, and off to ICU we went.

Thankfully, his mom, dad, and sister were able to help us with Civie and keep her calm. As a lot of people know, Civie is adopted and has some medical issues herself.

The medical bills are going to be outrageous, and he still has a lot of doctor's appointments to go to. He will be having surgery sometime and this will help with medical bills and unpaid time off of work.

He is the breadwinner of our family. He works for Kia, and they have been wonderful (their quick response with Daniel at work was truly a lifesaver).

We are not used to asking for help, but this time we have to.

We want to thank everyone for all the prayers, calls, texts, and visits. We know that we have a long and bumpy road ahead, and Daniel has to make a complete lifestyle change.
