Dear Friends & Colleagues,

With a heavy heart and the deepest sorrow, I share the heartbreaking news of Daniel's passing. He found his peace on March 7, 2024, after a long and difficult battle with lung cancer, a painful and traumatic journey he never expected to face, one that lasted 4 years and took his happiness away…

Daniel was a very strong man, he was full of courage, determination and passion for life, family, friends, and his career as well. He’s work ethic was impeccable, committed to everything he started, regardless of the challenges he faced. He dedicated time to personal growth and valued being correct, always doing the right thing, and complying with all the rules in life, not breaking any, not even challenging them, even if it meant that it would benefit him. He’s legacy will forever be remembered as a powerful force, because of what he’s been able to accomplish during these hard times. He showed integrity in everything he did and he was committed to his fight against this cruel disease. Sadly, although he put all his effort & energy into his race against time, and gave it all he had in him, down to his last breath, but sadly, it simply just wasn’t enough to make cancer give in or back up! He was a great man, he fought very hard, he showed us how strong we can be when life gives us no other choice, he taught his family a lot, shared great wisdom through words, but even more so, through his actions & consistency.

In times of loss, our hearts find peace & calm in the support we receive from our family and the community we’re a part of. I am beyond grateful for the kindness already shown by the people who made time to stop by the hospital to visit Daniel… it truly meant the world to him! He bragged about it so much, he was so proud to see that he has a few people who cared about him! Your gesture of support made him so happy, brought him a sense of peace and comfort. This was important to him and made a huge impact on his state of mind. It was nice to see him excited again and full of life!
He was always hesitant to reach out to people and claimed that he doesn’t have anybody to count on in this country, that nobody cared about him or his struggles in any way... I wish to prove him wrong in this regards. I want Daniel to see that he did have people who cared about him, and that it wasn’t a few, but an entire community actually had his back!!!

In honor to Daniel, as a tribute to him, please use this chance to share the link to spread the word & to show your support for his hard times. Let this be the opportunity for all of us to stand together and not only show him, but also to show each other that we are more than colleagues, that we are a family, a hardworking community who also cares deeply for one another, especially in the hardest of times…

Thank you for considering this request to honor a life so beautifully lived. Your generosity and support in these times are what make our community truly special.

         Rest in Peace Dear Daniel,
         You Will Forever Be Missed.
