The Mexia Family

Hi I am Selene Mexia,

On Friday August 12th, Daniel Mexia was tragically struck by a vehicle while enjoying a night out with our family. Upon returning home from a community music event a vehicle struck Daniel while he rode a scooter on the corner of Alma Aldea and Rancho Santa Margartia, and then fled the scene.

Daniel is currently fighting for his life. He has sustained significant damage to his brain and a fracture to his neck. Please pray for his body to heal, and his brain to recover. Daniel is currently in stable condition in the ICU but faces a long road to recovery. He is currently unconscious and the complete extent of health challenges will not be discovered until he regains consciousness.

We have two young children and are struggling with the state of this disastrous event and are diligently praying for his return home.

Daniel is an amazing father, husband, brother, ans son, with so much life ahead of him. He works hard every day to provide a good life to his family.
