It's been a hard year for Daniel Martinez and his family. He's been in constant, debilitating pain for 4 months, missing out on school, sports, and everything else. Numerous tests and evaluations have not revealed a definitive diagnosis. He's under the care of Boston Children's Hospital Pain Clinic, which identifies the source as nerve pain. Locally, he is receiving acupuncture once a week. With more funds, he would be able to go twice a week. The family is still paying off medical expenses for Daniel and his sister Gabriela from last year. They would truly appreciate the support from our community to enable more acupuncture and therapy for Daniel. This situation has been a strain financially, physically and emotionally on their mom, Eileen. Any amount of support would be much appreciated.
