Hi I’m Troy. I’m Daniel’s brother.

My brother has been struggling with a rare blood disorder that has been causing anemia and everything that goes with it for the better part of 10 years. Over the last six months, these symptoms have increased dramatically.

Fed up, Daniel finally went to the doctor to figure out what’s going on. After countless appointments and a costly bone marrow biopsy he learned that his body is running on less than half the amount of hemoglobin necessary. To treat his condition, he is on an intense medication regiment, that we hope will put it into remission and cure it. If not, he will have to proceed with another form of treatment.

For the first few weeks of the treatment he was able to continue teaching, but now he has been unable to continue teaching due to the intensity of the treatment and its side effects. The treatment is quite rough and he is a teacher at a non-traditional school that serves students in a 1:1 setting so he has tremendous impact on his students’ lives and wanted to be able to give them his best. We’re graciously asking for financial assistance for my brother during this time.

All donations will be going toward lost wages, rent, medical bills, and groceries.
