On Tuesday, July 26, 2022 my two sons Daniel and Jon set out for a relaxing, evening ride. After spending some time with family, they headed home. Unfortunately this ride did not go as planned and resulted in a terrible motorcycle accident. Daniel was immediately tranferred to a Level 1 Trauma Center as his injurys were too severe for the local hospital to handle. By the grace of God, Daniel survived the crash but has a long road of surgeries and therapy ahead of him. He has many broken bones and internal injuries. This single father of two girls (Kali and Remy) could be out of work for 4-6 months potentially. He had literally just started a new job and was w orking towards saving to purchase a home. I know my son is VERY strong and will get back on his feet but we do not know realistically how long this could take. He is looking at potentially three surgeries in the next few weeks.
While I am normally the first to help in any situation, I am always the last to ask for help. But this situation warrants help from his family and friends on whatever level can be provided. Any amount of assistance that can be given will help and will be greatly appricated. Even if it is just a prayer for my son for healing that will mean the world to us.
We are so appreciative of those who have offered to help with the girls and the dogs. The calls, texts and messages mean so much. We know the road ahead is going to be hard but with the Grace of God and through the love and support of family and friends he will get through this. Thank you!!
