In loving memory of Daniel Guardado

It’s just baseball…. That’s what many always say. But baseball runs deep in many families and those that come together to play baseball are the biggest, most lovable families you can find. The El Paso baseball community lost one of its coaches on November 16. Daniel Guardado was a coach to the Ultimate Warriors. He was a role model and mentor to our boys. His goal was to not only coach young baseball players, but to also mentor them into young men who value respect, dignity, hard work, and above all put God first. He made sure to start every game in prayer. His love for the game and the boys on the team was unmatched. Off of the baseball field, Daniel leaves behind his loving wife Tania Guardado, and his two children, Hailey and Caleb. Daniel was a stand-up man, a man of incredible faith, a man of incredible kindness. He was giving, you did not have to ask twice for help. He always gave, never expecting anything in return. He was an exceptional husband and extraordinary father who put God first. Daniel suffered a medical emergency on November 16, one that took him from us too soon. His last moments were spent playing baseball with his family. This weekend, his son is playing the Turkey Gobbler, and every time he gets to first base, we are reminded that his father is no longer here. We have no doubt in our hearts that Daniel is in the glory of God. He lead a life worth noting and worth using as an example. He lived a life of faith and honesty, and now we ask our El Paso community, our baseball community to help those he leaves behind. Your donations are received with thanks, and we pray God blesses you.
