Daniel G's Road to Recovery

To all of our wonderful family, friends and colleagues:
On May 21st, 2022, Daniel (my soon-to-be brother-in-law) was enjoying time with a friend jetskiing when he accidentally caught a few rogue waves that got him into a life-threatening accident.
The coast guard picked him up just in time to be rushed into emergency surgery for a ruptured spleen and internal bleeding. Unfortunately, Dan continued to have internal bleeding, and the following day he needed to be rushed in again for another life-saving surgery. Since the accident, he has made some progress but has consistently been met with new challenges.
As most of you know, Dan is a fun-loving, generous, family-oriented person. He is a son, brother, husband, a new dad to an adorable 2-month-old baby girl named Harper, and not to mention one of the best friends anyone could ask for. His family, friends, and fellow police officers could not love him more, and I know we all want him to heal quickly.
We have been asked by so many how they can help Dan, Lindsey and baby Harper at this time, and we are so grateful. We know that his recovery will be hard on him in more ways than one, but we are hoping that with some financial support, the burden of his looming medical bills and the time he will need to take off from work won't have to be weighing him down as he tackles this hurdle to get back on his feet.
We are already so grateful for the outpouring of love, support and amazing well-wishes from everyone who has reached out. Dan, Lindsey, baby Harper (and the entire Goldstein family) cannot thank you enough. It may be a long recovery, but we know that Dan can do it and become stronger than ever! Thank you, everyone.
All the love,
The Goldstein Fam
