It is with heavy hearts we mourn the passing of our “Papa Dan Dan”. Daniel Duncan was a man of God, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was deeply loved and will be missed greatly. We are extremely grateful for your financial support and prayers during this difficult time as well as what some of you may have done in the past to help support Dan’s treatment protocol.

Although Dan was fighting cancer of the tongue and lymph node, sudden death was not expected. Our family has been incredibly blessed by how we have felt supported and loved on over the last year and a half. We have not felt alone in this fight and are truly thankful that God used you to help us walk this difficult road.

As we navigate through the sorrow of losing Dan, we are faced with the reality of the various expenses associated with his funeral arrangements and the necessities that follow. Cathy, who has been a pillar of strength, now confronts the daunting task of managing these responsibilities without Dan's financial support, as he was the primary breadwinner for the family. Our family has rallied over the past year and a half to champion Dan’s treatment process and to support them both in many ways and we will continue to do so until all is resolved.

In these challenging times, many of you have asked how you can help. While your prayers and emotional support have been invaluable, any financial support would be incredibly appreciated to help cover the costs of the funeral and to provide a cushion for Cathy as she adjusts to her new financial circumstances.

If you are able and willing to contribute financially, any amount, big or small, would be greatly appreciated and will be used to:

1. Cover Funeral Expenses

The funeral home has provided us with an initial estimate of ~$10,000. This cost includes both the funeral home and burial services.

We are in the process of finalizing these arrangements and can provide update a more detailed breakdown upon request and once it's available. These expenses represent a significant financial undertaking, especially considering Cathy's current situation, now without Dan's income.

2. Support Cathy

In addition to the immediate costs associated with Dan's funeral, Cathy faces the challenge of navigating through a significant transition in her life. As many of you know, Dan's passing was not only a deep emotional loss but also brought about a sudden change in Cathy's financial circumstances. In light of this, any additional financial assistance that can be provided to Cathy would not only help with the immediate expenses but also offer her some relief and stability as she navigates this new chapter in her life.
