My name is Abbi Cox, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my family's lives. On March 24, 2025, my beloved husband Daniel experienced a terrifying medical emergency. He suffered a seizure and a heart attack that sent us into a whirlwind of hospital visits, uncertainty, and overwhelming stress. Daniel is currently waiting on FMLA to fo through the rest of the way, and we’re in the process of filing for short-term disability, which means he is not able to work while he focuses on his recovery. As his wife, I am doing my very best to balance my work commitments and long hours, but I’m struggling to manage all the mounting expenses on my own. With medical bills piling up—especially as we have not yet met our deductible. And everyday expenses like rent and utilities growing increasingly difficult to cover, we’re in desperate need of help. We are aiming to raise $4,500 to help cover these critical costs. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward paying the hospital bills and keeping our daily lives afloat during this recovery period.
