Daniel's Catholic Worldview Fellowship Fund

I have recently been accepted to a study abroad program called the Catholic Worldview Fellowship for the month of July 2021. This program focuses on four pillars: Academic Excellence, Leadership, Culture, and Spiritual Foundation. The fellowship places emphasis on community and modern society and how we can impact an ever-shifting culture. Throughout the month of July, I will be spending three weeks in Germany and one week in Rome earning 6 academic credits (ECTS) from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum (Rome, Italy). Lectures given by experts in the fields of history, religion, philosophy, and ethics shed light on the role of Catholic leadership in today’s constantly evolving culture. Through seminars, workshops, and one-on-one coaching sessions, I will be enabled to identify my talents more clearly and learn how to unleash their leadership potential. Along with academic work, fellows explore the roots of Western culture through fieldwork and organized outings to historical sites (Aachen, Cologne, Trier, Xanten, as well as the major landmarks and basilicas in Rome). The Fellowship is anchored in Catholic spirituality. Through daily prayer, Mass, spiritual formation, and personal dialogue provided by priests and/or consecrated women, I will further develop and form lasting spiritual habits. 

The cost of this program is roughly $6,450 including airfare. This is where I am in need. The program cost is one that I will not be able to cover on my own, and any amount of help you are willing or able to give would mean an indescribable amount to me. It is no secret that the last year has been an enormous challenge emotionally, physically, and financially due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to ask for support is something I approach with the utmost of humility. It has been a dream of mine to attend this program for a few years now, and this will likely be my last opportunity to attend before finishing my degree and jumping into a career.
