Hello Friends,

I am Daniel Bower, a Troop 68 senior Scout. I am fundraising for my Eagle Project. For my project, I will be building a Gaga Pit at Berkeley Swim Club with the help of friends, family, and other Scouts. The Gaga Pit will consist of an octagonal pit that measures 20x20 ft and is 30 inches tall. The Gaga Pit will add a fun activity for children and adults when they need a break from swimming in the pool.

Gaga Ball is a form of dodgeball played in a pit, where the goal of the game is to get the other players out and be the last one standing. To knock a player out, you hit them from the waist down with the ball, which you can only smack with your hands. Anyone at the pool can use the Gaga Pit. The Gaga Pit will cost approximately $2,800 to build, and the cost for the rubber mat used to line the bottom of the pit is about $2,000, bringing the project total to $4,800. My goal is to raise this money through your generous donations. Please consider helping me reach my goal and complete my Eagle Project.
