On Thursday the 20th of November, our family’s world was shattered when my brother, Daniel, was struck by a hit-and-run driver. He fought as hard as he could, but tragically passed away from his injuries on Saturday the 22nd. In just a few days, our lives changed forever.

Daniel was only weeks away from celebrating his 30th birthday on December 8th, and instead of planning a milestone celebration, we are now preparing to say goodbye far too soon.

Daniel was a loving and devoted father to his two beautiful little girls, who will now grow up without their dad. He adored them more than anything in this world, and the thought of them growing up without his hugs, love and his laughter breaks our hearts.

As we navigate this heartbreak, we are also facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral and burial costs. Our family was not prepared for something so sudden and devastating. We have created this GoFundMe to help give Daniel the farewell he deserves and to ease the financial pressure during this incredibly painful time.
