My name is Meghan, I am Daniel’s stepdaughter. Daniel was in a horrific car accident on 9/5 and is currently going through the fight of his life at UNM Hospital. Daniel was hit head on by a dump style truck. This accident caused both of Daniel's legs to shatter along with causing a perforated bowel. He was in surgery for a little over 12 hours to fix all of the damage caused. Daniel, being the main breadwinner of the home, will not be able to work for the coming months. He has a very long road of recovery ahead of him. His wife of over 10 years Candy will be his main caregiver and will likely not be able to work during Daniels time in recovery. My family is a very proud family, but the expenses coming up and not being able to bring in income will put a huge financial strain on them. Along with that they also recently got custody of their grandson, my nephew Gabe. So, not only does my mom have the stressors of taking care of a small child she now has to figure out how she will financially manage the current situation.

Daniel is one of the most bad ass people I know. He is a fantastic husband, dad, grandpa, uncle, plus so much more and he is so very loved by all of us. Daniel is strong and we have faith that he will pull through everything. But I am asking for anything that you can donate. Any bit helps.
