Dearest Soul Family,
Having to sit here and write this is one of the most humbling experiences of my life. If you know me, you know I always strive to be as authentic and vulnerable as possible. I've been sharing on IG (@lightcodes) for a few months that I've been experiencing severe symptoms of Breast Implant Illness (BII) and after many weeks of searching, I finally manifested the right surgeon to help me remove the implants safely! Sadly, this illness has taken over my life, I am in constant pain, I have inflammation on my face, breasts, and belly, the migraines come daily, my eyesight gets blurry out of nowhere, hair has been falling out more than usual, the pain literally paralyzes me and keeps me up at night, and it's hard to do anything these days other than sleep and rest as the chronic fatigue, brain fog and lethargy is overbearing. I've always been a very active person and I haven't been able to exercise or see clients lately, or work on anything for that matter, which is heartbreaking since I love creating and being of service. I also had to cancel my retreat earlier this year because I couldn't properly hold space for a group in these conditions, and when I last traveled, I was always tired and missed out on some activities because I had to take naps during the day to be able to function.
In order for me to regain a normal and healthy life, I have no choice but to undergo this surgery or else my health will continue to decline even more, and just the thought alone has me absolutely scared.
The surgeon I'm working with will perform an en-bloc total capsulectomy and breast lift on me. The total cost for this surgery is $9,350 (including the 3 day post-surgery anesthesia) and I have to pay everything off by June 7th (in 2 weeks) if I want to get my surgery done in June. If not, I will have to wait until October to get the surgery as the waiting list is quite long. This is why I am reaching out to anyone willing to help me out. I simply do not have the funds at the moment and neither does my family. This is the hardest challenge I've been through physically and it really feels like I'm slowly dying :(
These overwhelming emotions are what led me to create this GoFundMe page, in hopes of helping me manifest my surgery in June with your help and donations.
Furthermore, I have teamed up with 2 beautiful souls to create a short documentary on my journey with BII with the intention of raising more awareness on this subject and possibly helping save other women's lives who are experiencing similar symptoms, or have developed autoimmune disorders and fibromyalgia because of their implants without knowing the root cause; especially since the FDA just confirmed that all breast implants can cause Cancer!
I've already received $7,526.95 in donations from 142 earth angels and I am soo incredibly grateful for each one of you! No amount donated is too small as it all adds up in the end!
