Please help Dani fight this brain tumor.

Hello,

On Dani’s birthday, we were devastated to learn that she has a brain tumor, a Pilocytic Astrocytoma that is located in a very sensitive area. She underwent surgery that weekend to ease the swelling by draining the fluid in her brain and take a tissue sample for biopsy. She was home in about week’s time and has been recovering well. It has been so comforting to see her back to her old self singing, dancing, and being witty as ever. She continues to grow stronger everyday. Though her diagnosis is “favorable”, the specific mutation of her tumor is known to transform and become more aggressive. As such, she will be under constant observation and will undergo tests and scans regularly to determine next steps. This will be a long journey for us but we are determined to do everything we can for our Dani girl.
