Dangle Bus Disaster

Once upon a time there existed a place we called "The Dangle Zone". This was a place of gathering and community for many. We welcomed all and every weekend we would escape to this place to release from our weekly routine. In a sense, this was our version of church. That place has since passed on and it is missed.
When "The Dangle Zone" dissappeared we needed a way to gather and continue to keep our San Diego community together and alive. I had a vision and capitalized on it. I bought a bus to manifest group experiences and adventures. In my eyes, money is best spent on the happiness and positive expirience of others in the community. This bus has brought so much joy, but has cost me almost every penny I own.
On the way to Symbiosis Gathering, a freak accident occured. We hit a road cone while on the I-405. Most of the time, a road cone will do nothing but dent a bumper, but this cone did MUCH more. The cone was laying on its side and perfectly stabbed the 1 inch oil line under the bumper. This was the Achilles heal of my poor bus. The bus spit out all of its oil and we spent the night on the side of the Freeway. In the morning, we towed the bus to a shop where I spent $700 fixing the oil cooler and oil line. With high hopes and exitement to arrive at Symbiosis, we began to drive. 2 miles up the road, the engine blew and ruined the oil lines we just fixed. Luckily we died next to an engine rebuilding mechanic. The bus is now getting a new engine totaling to $14,000 dollars. We had to rent a uhaul and pay $800 to get to symbiosis. This was the most expensive road trip I have ever been on.
This bus means a lot not only to me, but all of the people who have expirienced the adventures it brings. This bus keeps our community together and a healthy sense of community helps create a life worth living. <3
On a teacher's salary, it has been very hard to afford the repairs. PLEASE donate to keep this dream alive. It would me the world to many!
