Danette Walter Memorial Fund for Scarlet

My strong, beautiful sister passed away after her long and hard fought battle with ovarian cancer. Left behind is her 14 year old, Scarlet. I know my sister fought so hard and endured many dangerous and grueling surgeries because she wanted to be here for Scarlet.

Many of you reached out after she passed and wanted to donate directly to Scarlet but weren't sure how. I created this Gofundme as a way for people to donate, if they feel inclined. This money will be kept for Scarlet by me (her sister) until Scarlet is of age to decide whether college, trade school, or another path is the right fit.

During Danette's Celebration of Life on December 5th, we will also be asking for donations, and will be suggesting this Gofundme for those that prefer it over cash or check. And thanks to Danette's many wonderful friends for this suggestion to support Scarlet's future.

Danette's Celebration of Life is December 5th, at the Belvoir Winery's first floor ballroom. The event will be from 2pm to 4pm.
