Dan Elvers is one of a kind and is loved by so many. He is a great husband, sports fanatic, movie critic, and loves his animals and life with wife Abby on the lake in Harrodsburg Kentucky.

On November 28, 2018 Dan suffered a major stroke and was air ambulanced from his home in Harrodsburg, to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Dan was in a coma for more than 5 days and is slowly starting to respond to sound. He is still in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit and we do not know at this time when he will be released from ICU.

This is an overwhelming time for Dan’s wife Abby and his family. They have a lot of support and are getting by hour by hour. We recognize that there are so many people that love Dan and Abby and want to help. However, at this point, we ask that all visits, calls, texts, flowers, etc...are kept on hold until a later date.

As you can imagine the medical bills are increasing day by day and Dan has a long road to recovery ahead of him. Let’s help make this a reality for Dan and Abby and ease their stress during this difficult time. Please considering making a contribution to Dan’s Go Fund me account. Every little bit will help!

The goal is to get Dan well and back home. Remember that this is a marathon, not a sprint. Dan and Abby will need our support for quite awhile. They have created a wonderful village of friends and family and they will need it soon and for some time.
