Hi, my name is Michele, I'm Dane's younger sister. My mother, Janet and I are trying to raise funds to pay for my brother's funeral and memorial. My brother died suddenly and unexpectedly on Christmas morning. He had just turned 58. Our family is very small, consisting of 4 of us. My mother who is 76 and on a fixed income. I am also on a fixed income. He leaves behind a 15 year old daughter, Summer. We are broken and trying to figure out how we're going to bury and memorialize him. We are in agony over our loss. We are asking for help as he had no plan in place. We can't get any help from the veterans administration, I guess because he didn't serve long enough. He was very proud of the fact that he served his country for the time he did. He has left behind debt that is in my mother's name, and now my mother is worried how she's going to pay that. If there is any money left over, providing that we can raise it, that money will be put in an account for his daughter. Anything that is donated, will be very appreciated.
