I would like to introduce you to the Dandenong City Under 15 Boys team who will become the first Dandenong City team to head to Canberra in the Quest to win the Kanga Cup in July 2017.
The Kanga cup is the biggest international youth football tournament in the southern hemisphere. The tournament provides the team with the opportunity to meet players from all over Australia as well as players from overseas. The Kanga cup has played host to teams from Malaysia, India, Fiji, South Africa, Korea, Georgia, England, China, New Zealand, The USA, Indonesia and East Timor.
The U15Boys are running a fundraising campaign to help cover the costs of Registration, Accommodation and other associated costs travelling to Canberra to participate.
The boys have only recently started playing together and for majority of the team it is their first year in NPL and will be their first trip to the Kanga Cup. The aim of the trip is to gain experience in playing in a large international tournament and to continue to improve each week for our 2017 season.
If you have received an email or facebook link to this page your family, friend or colleague has a child in the team who is looking forward to representing their club Dandenong City in this tournament and hopes to be able to say they played at the Kanga Cup 2017.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time
