FORM Discipleship Program

Hello everyone! Thanks for taking the time to check out my gofundme page! I'm excited to share what has been going on in my life. So let's get to it!
August of 2014 I began going to Fellowship Missionary Church. For those of you who don't know, Fellowship is a pretty large church so I spent about 5 months attending where I would walk in and out, only knowing 2 or 3 people who even went there. One Sunday, however, Darrel and Susan Sigworth introduced themselves to me and invited me to attend a young adult Bible study called Emerge. It took me a few weeks, but quickly I became a regular attender. In the weeks to come I began to thrive in such an exciting way. Emerge is a group of 20 year olds who meet every week to intentionally learn about God, that's already pretty awesome. But Emerge became so much more than a Bible study group to me. Emerge became a community of friends. A community of friends who all have their own unique story. Our diverse stories join together at this stage of our lives and it has meant so much to me to have a group of friends to laugh with, to struggle through things with, and to pray with. Emerge has been such a blessing to my life. I could go on and on about it.

One of the many good things that has come from Emerge has been others affirming leadership abilities that I possess. The leader of Emerge, Pastor Gerald Coleman, sadly had to leave us, but for good reason, to begin an exciting new era for the Coleman family. His leaving opened the door for "Emergers" like myself to step up and make it a priority to keep Emerge going. That led to this summer being an exciting, challenging time learning about leadership and many of the implications that duty carries. I'm definitely still learning.

So let's bring this to why you're on this website. This spring, I was seeking direction in life. Return to college, seek a different job, seminary... the thoughts rolled on and on. In the past I have had good intentions with committments that lacked motivation. I wanted to truly find what God wanted me to do. Where He wanted me to be. What my use was. One day, I got a phone call from this guy named Tim and he asked if I'd consider entering into a discipleship and leadership program for young adults called Form. The few weeks after that phone call consisted of meeting Tim and other leaders of Form, meeting other young adults doing Form, praying, seeking advice from family and friends, and learning more about what Form is. I will be honest that I had fears and doubts. But in the days to come the confirmations far exceeded the questions. So I made the committment! I'm doing Form. And I'm sure your wondering what Form is, so please just follow this link and they will answer your questions :)

Upon reading that you'll notice it's a 10 month committment beginning very soon, this September. As part of the program, it's encouraged to live with a family from church. Well, I have such a unique opportunity to actually be able to live with my father and step-mom. I have been living alone. So when I was seeking for a place to move to my dad and Rose opened the door to their house. This is so exciting to me because I haven't lived with my dad since middle school. I believe these next 10 months will be transformational to me in many ways, including my relationship with my dad.
Something worth noting, I have worked at Dayton Freight since September 2012. I have been working from 4am-10am Tuesday thru Saturday. Beginning August 31, I will be working 5pm-11pm Mon-Fri. Many life changes!

I'm very excited for this journey to begin. But I need your help. As was mentioned on Form's website, the program cost $2500. Please let me be honest with you. It is not easy for me to ask you for money. There's a lot I could say about that. But I just have to trust that God has a plan to provide for me to do this program. And you may be a part of that.
Would you please spend some time in prayer and thought and consider making a donation? Of any amount, truly every little bit helps.
To cover some of the logistics. There are 2 ways to donate.
1) send a check in the mail to the church:
Grace Gathering
3157 Minnich Road · New Haven, IN · 46774
2) donate on this gofundme page!

please note. if you send a check to the church it can be tax deductible. just make sure to leave the memo line blank and put a note with the check saying for Form Daniel DeArmond. If you put something in the memo line I believe that makes it not tax deductible. Also, donating to this page is not tax deductible.
It does not make a difference to me how you choose to donate. I do plan to keep this page up to date with all donations received even ones not directly through this page.

Thank you so much for reading through this, for caring for me, for considering investing in me.

There is something else I would like to ask you to do.
Would you add Form to your prayer list? for these 10 months, it would be so awesome to have a community of believers praying for myself and others participating in Form. God will be speaking to us. Please be praying that we have open hearts to hear what He has in store for us.

Thanks again for taking the time to read this.
Please, if you have any questions, reach out to me.
If you just want to talk. to catch up. reach out to me.
call/text/email me. Thank you so much for being an important part of my journey.

Micah 6:8
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
