Shaylah is a 16yr old young yuin girl from Bega on the far south coast. Shaylah has the opportunity to perform with Bangarra Aboriginal dance company in Sydney for a total of 5 weeks altogether for dance rehearsals and performances in September and November. The money is to be used for accommodation and travel and her essential needs while being in Sydney. Shaylah will be doing week on and off from home and Sydney. Shaylah will be performing at the state dance festival on the 19th September and the schools spectacular at Qudos bank arena on the 28th and 29th November. This is a huge opportunity for a young girl from the south coast and anyone that knows Shaylah knows how much she loves her dancing whether it’s her cultural dancing or her hip hop and contemporary.
