Dancing Disciples Mission Dancing for the Lord like it's MTV… The Dancing Disciples is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to share the gospel, through dance, salvation, deliverance, prayer, worship, and the word of God. Lead by top professional choreographers and dancers, who have given their life to Jesus. Ministering in a new innovative way, through their cutting-edge visuals, commercial Christian music, and live dance events. On a mission to heal the brokenhearted, bring salvation to the lost, set captives free, and share the love of Christ through dance and worship around the world. My Vision for this non-profit Ministry We hope to share the gospel all around the world, via the internet, social media, creative visual content, bible studies, dance classes, worship, festivals, and performances. While serving at other ministry events, churches, orphanages, homeless shelters, prisons, hospitals, and schools. We will have core members of the crew who will be assigned as the leaders of the ministry. They will be the core performers, teachers, and leaders, sent to do ministry work through the above avenues. Our online & in-person community, will also offer bible studies, dance classes, and live events for professional working dancers in the industry. To help equip them to navigate being in the field of entertainment, and the environment that comes with that atmosphere. Geared to specifically help believers in the entertainment industry bring God into the room, and remain steadfast Christians, so they can influence those around them, instead of being influenced. Who created this Non-Profit and why? Created by Shirlene Quigley, a dance professional for over twenty years. Starting her career as one of Beyonce’s original “uhh oh” girls in Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love” music video in 2003, right after graduating from Village Christian Schools in 2002. Since then she has worked with artists such as Rihanna, Missy Elliot, Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown, Destinys Child, The Isley Brothers, Ashanti, Mary J Blige, and much more. You may have recently seen her in a city near you, dancing alongside Lizzo, with whom she has been on the road since 2019. Also featured as a judge/teacher, on the Emmy Award winning Amazon Prime show, “Watch Out For The Big Grrrls”. She began to have an intimate relationship with the Lord in the summer of 2012, when she stepped into OneLA and felt the presence of God in a fresh new way. Since then her life, and the way she views the industry drastically changed. She even asked herself many times if she needed to leave the industry, but kept hearing God say “stay”. realizing, we can be “in it, but not of it”, and now taking a bold direction to bring faith to the community in a brand new way. Shirlene hopes, Dancing Disciples, will spread the love of Jesus to all walks of life, while helping to equip entertainers to bring Jesus to and through, the dance, music, and entertainment industry.  She is at the beginning stages of creating this mission and vision.
