Here we GO again with the dance competitions, this year we have Ten (10) elementary schools to choose from. Judges please make sure to show up at least 30 minutes before starting time. The children will be ready to start at their perspective time. We truly appreciate your Time and Support of Dancing With The Children.

Dance Therapy Dance Your Depression Away Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 Tax-Exempt Organization (March 21, 2003)- Our Mission is to conquer depression through Latin ballroom dancing by educating individuals and families to promote physical fitness, mental and sipiritual health. We are  dedicated to dance, public speaking, confidence, healthy choices, life skills, exercise, culture awareness, community involvement, family unity, love & respect.

OUR PROGRAMS

Dancing With The Children- We were in the Edgewood Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas. We provided ballroom dance instruction to second, third and fourth graders, and also Word of the Week (WoW) was a great tool that we used for the children to write, 25 words were selected related to dance. Children were encouraged  to write an essay and work together with their parents and do a poster with the word.

Bailando Con La Familia- Every Wednesday 5:00 pm- 6:30pm, we teach "Free" Latin Ballroom Dancing (Bilingual) at The Neighborhood Place/ El Hogar De Los Vecinos 3014 Rivas Street, San Antonio, Texas 78228.
This program was created for children, and parents, grandparents, guardians of the children come together and communicate as they learn to dance.
The children also learn.... Public Speaking, Confidence, , Life Skills, Exercise, Culture Awareness, Community Involvement, Healthy Choices, Family Unity, Love & Respect.

Plus,

Dance Ambassasdor- Is about Teaching the Children to Teach their families how to dance, communicate with each other and become a Healthier Family.

Plus,

Senior Nutrition Centers- The Good Samaritan Senior Center is the center that we teach seniors how to exercise, dance patterns, socialize, line dancing, and share their experiences in life.
