I never thought that I would be asking this for myself because I have always done it for other charities.

A few years ago I had a knee replacement after years as a dancer. My last theatre appearance was in the original cast of the musical CATS in London’s West-End.

I recently had a car accident on the way back home from visiting my partner of 55 years after his double cancer operation.

The front tyre of my car exploded sending the car into a ditch and then into a gigantic boulder. The engine of the car ended up underneath the car.

At the time, I thought I had escaped serious injury because nothing externally seemed to be wrong until a recent MRI scan showed my knee replacement had suffered

damage and now I am told that I need this new knee replacing but there is a very long waiting list.

Although my partner is doing well, he needs constant help and attention but I am on two crutches which makes things very difficult

Can you help me get a new knee so I can continue to look after my partner and ´kick the arse out of this cancer and help to rebuild our shattered lives.
