DDA Dance World Cup 2025 - Team Scotland

Dawns Dance Academy (DDA) is based in Dumbarton and provides a full range of classes from 2years and above in multiple genres including Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro and commercial.

Dance World cup is an annual international dance competition for children and young adults from all over the world. It's one of the largest and most difficult competitions which features over 6000 dancers from more than 50 countries who have come through the qualifying stages to make it to the world finals. The competition includes all genres of dance and encourages group performances to allow as many children as possible to participate. The 2025 Dance World Cup is taking place in Burgos,Spain and will run over 11 days.

The school is delighted and so proud to say that 14 Dancers have qualified to represent Team Scotland in over 50 routines including Solos, Duos, Trios and group dances.

This is a remarkable achievement and will be an experience of a lifetime for them.

With the staggering costs of entry fees, flights, Costumes, Team Scotland Tracksuits and various other expenses. We will be doing numerous fundraising events and activities throughout the year such as bag packing, sponsored walks etc to support and ensure every dancer gets the opportunity to attend.
