Dance “Un Poco Loco” for Gilly’s Stem Cell Treatment

Hi friends and family, Gilly is a 14 year old happy, lovable and very
bright boy who was born with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. He
likes to play pool, go swimming and dance. He is aware of everything
that goes on around him and can think of things he wants to say and
do…but because of his cerebral palsy his muscles tense up when he
attempts to do things, the signals in his brain do not get to the
muscles, so he has difficulty coordinating movements and processing
words. You see, Gilly was born premature due to an accident in the
womb. He was in Mom’s belly for 2 days without oxygen, which killed
some of his brain cells that help control movement and caused gaps
between the cells that would help coordinate simple tasks we do
without thinking. Gilly is a strong warrior who has been through
numerous medical appointments with specialists, physical therapy,
speech therapy and occupational therapy. He has made improvements such
as sitting by himself for a couple of minutes, he has better control
of his hands to do big movements, take steps in his KidWalk with a lot
of help and he can say a few words. He recently had a surgery to help
stretch the muscles in his legs so he can take steps and not hurt
himself when attempting to move. We always prayed and hoped there was
something more we could do to help Gilly improve his overall skills
and become more independent…how we wished we could give Gilly more
brain cells to make up for the ones he lost and have a better
opportunity to control his movements…now we CAN! There is a new
“miracle” treatment which has been around for a few years and is
showing great results in almost all of the recipients…Stem Cell
Treatment!  A few days ago we got the call we have been longing
for…Gilly qualified for the stem cell treatment and there was an
opening for an appointment Thursday, July 12th 2018. Of course we took
the appointment! Gilly needs 90 million stem cells. He will be treated
by Dr. John Shieh at Rejuvayou in Pasadena. Dr. Shieh applies
microcurrent to the brain to help “bridge the gaps” between brain
cells that could help Gilly carry out and control the movements he is
thinking about doing. He then injects the stem cells via IV and they
go where they are needed the most. Then we can go home and work, work,
work to help him learn how to use his new cells and get stronger. The
treatment is very expensive and since it is new and not “proven”
insurance does not cover it. I know we only have a few days to
fundraise…If you are able to help with a small donation to cover some

Bailar “Un Poco Loco” Para El Tratamiento de Células Madre de Gilly

Hola amigos y familiares, Gilly es un niño feliz, amable y muy
luminoso de 14 años que nació con parálisis cerebral espástica
tetrapléjico. A él le gusta jugar al billar, nadar y bailar. Él es
consciente de todo lo que pasa a su alrededor y puede pensar en cosas
que quiere decir y hacer ... pero a causa de su parálisis cerebral,
sus músculos se tensan cuando trata de hacer las cosas, las señales de
su cerebro no llegan a los músculos, por lo que tiene dificultad para
coordinar los movimientos y procesamiento de palabras. Usted ve, Gilly
nació prematura debido a un accidente en el útero. Él estaba en el
vientre de mamá durante 2 días sin oxígeno, esto mató a algunas de sus
células cerebrales que ayudan a controlar el movimiento y causó
brechas entre las células que ayuden a coordinar las tareas simples
que nosotros hacemos sin pensar. Gilly es un guerrero fuerte que ha
pasado por numerosas citas médicas con especialistas, terapia física,
terapia del habla y terapia ocupacional. Se ha llevado a cabo mejoras
tales como sentarse por sí mismo durante un par de minutos, él tiene
un mejor control de sus manos para hacer movimientos grandes, toma
pasos en su Kidwalk con mucha ayuda y que puede decir unas pocas
palabras. Hace poco tuvo una cirugía para ayudar a estirar los
músculos de sus piernas para que pueda tomar pasos y no lastimarse a
sí mismo cuando se trata de mover. Siempre oramos y esperámos algo más
que podríamos hacer para ayudar a Gilly a mejorar sus habilidades en
general y que se vuelva más independiente ... ¿cómo nos hubiera
gustado darle más células cerebrales para compensar las que perdió y
tener una mejor oportunidad de controlar su movimientos ... ahora
podemos! Hay un nuevo tratamiento “milagroso” que ha existido desde
hace unos años y está mostrando excelentes resultados en casi todos
los destinatarios ... tratamiento con células madres!  Hace unos días
recibimos la llamada que hemos estado esperando ... Gilly califico
para el tratamiento de células madres y había una abertura para una
cita previa Jueves, 12ª de julio de 2018. Por supuesto que tomamos la
cita! Gilly necesita 90 millones de células madre. Él será tratada por
el Dr. John Shieh en Rejuvayou en Pasadena. El Dr. Shieh aplica micro
corriente al cerebro para ayudar a “crear nuevos puentes” entre las
células cerebrales que podrían ayudar a Gilly llevar a cabo y
controlar los movimientos que está pensando en hacer. Despues, inyecta
las células madre vía intravenosa y se van donde más se necesitan.
Entonces podemos ir a casa y trabajar, trabajar, trabajar para
ayudarle a aprender cómo usar sus nuevas células y hacer ejercicios
para ponerse mas fuerte. El tratamiento es muy caro y ya que es nuevo
y no “probado” no lo cubre el seguro. Sé que sólo tenemos unos pocos
días para recaudar fondos ... Si usted es capaz de ayudar con una
